Rick Ross still tries to prove himself...
"I live by principle…
I’m a 10millionare now…
I done been interviewed for 2 different homicides, not saying I was the shooter…
I’m probably the only artist in the game that can say they was raised or well affiliated with a n—a made America’s Most Wanted. And that aint nothing to glorify, I cry about that every day…I cry for my nigga cuz he’s so real.
I never tried to hide my past, or hide nothing. I put my name on the inside of all my CDs…. my company got my social security number. I coulda put my company name I’m a muthaf—in’ boss, n—a. I never ratted on no n—a, aint never arrest no n—a….I dont worked at muthaf—in’ car washes, man.
Am I 100percent authentic when I talk about cocaine, or I talk about heroin?… I dont need to explain myself to no n—a.
Am I offended? Of course not. I expect that when I’m rich!
Another thing, people dont discuss is my past record. I was 15 when I caught my first charge. 16 when I caught my first drug charge. I’m out on bond right now. I almost missed my Trilla album release party!
So when n—as say my name, a n—a better muthaf—in’ recognize, n—a, I dont have these crosses under my eyes for playin with n—as….
I feel like emotions are for women….
I love all the attention….I hope that makes CNN, I’m that relevant, I’m a big deal!
I’m emotional, man. "
